Spiritual was designed to perform and handle any modern floodbot while trying to minimize the amount of strain on a user's system.
If floodwatch is enabled on your bot, many flood messages will be ignored by the bot, and flooding users will not be shown in the channel list to prevent lag issues.
To protect your bot from strain due to a floodbot:
1. Open the bot
2. Click on the 'Configuration' menu item.
3. In the Configuration window, click on the 'Options' tab.
4. Make sure the box that says 'Enable floodwatch' is checked.
5. Click the 'Save + Close' button at the bottom.
To enable floodban:
1. Open the bot
2. Click on the profile you wish to enable floodban on via the tabstrip directly below the menu items.
3. Type '/floodban on'
Please note that Spiritual may not ban every single flood user who enters the channel. If a user enters the channel and leaves too quickly the bot will ignore that user completely.
