Slacker is Back up!

Slacker is a uniquely designed multi-profile binary bot.
Slacker is in its infant stages and I, niNe, am looking for some beta testers.

What I am looking for is to beat the hell out of the bot to find bugs I may have missed.

I also also be taking suggestion into future releases.

Anything special to get this bitch to run on wine cause i can't do it for the life of me all though it does look like a pretty cool bot.

s3v3n actually runs it on wine fine.

Set Linux=True and should work well.

Now i am not computer retarded here i am running opensuse 11.1 i think with the most current build of wine and from my experience when a program such as this one acts like it's going to load but then just stops and doesn't do anything means that the bot is missing a file or some part of the executable isnt compatible with wine. I think the problem is the when the program creates files and folders when you run it idk that might not be the problem but i can't get it to run.

also been running this bot on windows and i have been getting a few bugs:
1. when exiting the bot i get runtime error 75 path/file error or something to that effect when its connected
2. Nothing in the bot masters, trigger, global triggers, or moderation areas saves when you hit save, emulate warcraft 2 client also does not save. The tic box for account options is cut off badly.

As for the Linux issue, I'm not sure you can ask s3v3n what he did exactly.  As for windows and the error is why I asked for testers. The things that don't save are not implemented yet.  And for the cutting off of the option was a small mistake.

If you can tell me, on windows, what exactly you did to get that error 75?

You need SSTab ocx.  Maybe that is why it does not load on your system through wine.

as of yet, there is no database or moderation support.
 Like I said its infant stages.

I was connected to bnet and i didn't hit disconnect before exiting and i got the error. Also know where i can get a sstab.ocx?

 TABCTL32.ocx is the ocx name, search google you can find it.

Instead of using the double click method to open Slacker, please open up a console and run slacker through a console & paste me the output.

also, you will need to get msscript.ocx, you can grab this by installing Windows Script Control.

Well when i run it through terminal i get this and only this...

/home/.wine/c_drive/slacker/slacker.exe: cannot execute binary file.

and please remember, on linux case DOES matter..  unless you renamed the .exe, it's Slacker, not slacker.

no i don't have to type it out i can drag and drop the exe into the terminal and it will give me the path of it and i just hit enter and thats what it says. Also tried to type it out manually  and added " to it and it still didn't work i swear that it wont run because it creates files after you run it.

if you just have the exe inside the slacker folder,, slacker will create all the files it needs for you.. you can also download the lockdown libraries and files from the link above. 

You must be doing something wrong, it looks like you're trying to execute the bot from an invalid file location.
